Can’t identify. Can’t accept actual name. Needs everything done over to even start to call this an app
  • Mediocre results

Just getting mediocre results so far. I think I need to work on getting better pictures before I give this a final rating. Update May 2019 - getting better results with updates.

  • Improved and Working!

Updated review: When I first downloaded this app, I took a long time to load results. However, that has greatly improved. It still offers options, which I don’t love - if I could guess, I wouldn’t be looking it up. But it definitely points you in the right direction and with the provided sample photos, you can take a more educated guess. Thanks so much for the improvements!
  • Not too accurate

    By SadDadDidDat
For 20 dollars I was expecting much more but I suppose nothing is really perfect. Really disappointed. Wanted to hang out with my five year and do some awesome exploring but even he could tell how inaccurate it turned out to be. Lots of potential for sure. Oh well.

Can’t get it to identify one thing
  • Same old song

    By E & N Engineer
This was a very ambitious project that started with good intentions and unavailable promises of 90% accuracy. I applaud the developers for the effort but I I am fed up with there defensive attitude that it is always the users fault when it misidentifies a plant. Like many others... I have used this app for over a year. I am a very accomplished technical person who also has a lot of experience With photography including for technical purposes, proper composition is a must for an app like this to work so I have taken many photos of plants following their instructions. I have a lot of experience programming and many other technologies. I read all the instructions, watched the videos, contacted tech support many times and get the same old song. It’s all my fault their app cannot tell an acorn from a coconut! An oak tree from poison ivy, a sun flower from whatever. If you don’t already know what the plant is don’t count on this app to get it right. Save your money and after you finish reading this review you can read another Defensive bs answer from the developers that just can’t find within themselves enough humility to admit their app is unreliable. Save your money. I get much more reliable identifications using free internet search engines. Please plant snap, spare everybody the defensive answers you give and don’t respond to this review. Fed up with your “every one else’s fault” answers.
