This App is the best! Saved me tons of money on separate GPS system. Waterproof case on my phone and now I can measure my training progress. Gives me motivation to be able to see distance accumulated and speed averages based on wind and current. I highly recommend this App!
  • Best Apple app for speedsurfing

Finally there is an app offering some of the features needed for speed windsurfing. My GW 60 watches only last for about a year and don’t offer anything but the top results for recording speed sessions. With this app, I’ve finally decided to upgrade to an Apple watch 4 cell so I will also have the ability to call for help if something goes wrong. I am really encouraged that these guys are constantly improving this app and am hoping for a max alpha 500m in the future as that is what I’m working on at improving the most these days. Lots of potential.
  • Great new additional feature

This a great app for me. As a small boat sailor, the new “123” feature (bottom right corner) is the best part. Tap it, and the screen shows heading, speed, and elapsed time in big bold numbers. I can stick my phone at the front of the cockpit and the whole crew can see this vital info. With no expensive equipment installed, no wires to run, and no holes drilled in my boat. Awesome! Then at the end of the sail, we’re can switch back to map view and analyze our track. Cool app all around.

  • Cutting track

Even using video tutorial impossible trio cut track. This would be an important feature because how's often do you forget to "end" your track. Like always. It would be nice to clip the drive home of your stats. Good luck with that. Need better, more clear instructions.

Excellent support. I was having trouble with the app on my Apple Watch, and members of the Waterspeed team were incredible. They responded to my emails very quickly and even sent follow up emails when I hadn’t responded back. After updating my watch and re-pairing it to my phone, the watch app worked. It ended up being a problem with my watch rather than the app.
  • Why subscription?!

Why does everything have to be a subscription now? I’d gladly pay $10-$20 for this, but not every year.
