  • Temporary pin notification

No issues with the app. However, I would suggest that you update the temporary pin notification that is sent via text to state that it is for the mobile security app. Right now, the message is very generic. I was receiving messages for a week not knowing if it was legitimate or a spam threat. I even called AT&T and they couldn’t even verify the origin of the text.

The latest release says that “Something went wrong. that was unexpected, let’s try again”. Then just keeps looping there. I also get a message saying I am running an old version. Which I am not. I update my apps daily.

  • Spam text

This worked well for a while. Then my number got targeted through this app for spam saying I requested a temporary pin #. The texts came from a number that I had received an official at&t text from previously; however, these texts were slightly off. I called at&t who told me to block and ignore. Their temp passwords will always come from a different number. So their number was being spoofed. I didn’t put 2&2 together that it was the app until the app told me I was running on outdated software. Simultaneously the texts started flooding in again. App deleted! Problem solved.

I never get past the screen asking for a pin. The app says sending pin to my phone, but it never does. Repeated attempts are the same.

Pay how much I do for family of AT&T users and y’all want to charge a monthly fee to protect your customer base?! Your spam call protection and WiFi protection you want to charge monthly fee to the users who are already paying several hundreds a month. Forget rewarding customer loyalty. Breach list choices are inadequate at best, missing so many financial institutions. Sorry but I’m not paying for spam call protection or this so called security app. Apple tells us when we need to update IOS, I’ll keep my vpn provider as they give more than this app does. AT&T really missing the mark trying to charge its customers for something that should be free.

This “free” app is collecting everything you do on your phone. Info that has nothing to do with AT&T phone service or protection of that service. After reading their privacy terms in full...deleted from my phone.
