I gotta say, I enjoyed Homescapes A LOT! I would definitely recommend Gardenscapes. Then, you would create a Perfect “happy home” for these two games!
  • At first I liked it...

I think I’ve been playing this for over a year. At first it seemed interesting as you could open rooms in a large house and add furniture. It’s a large house with many rooms yet I only have opened 3. There keeps being stupid tasks within a room, like bake a cake, which could be offered after the rest of house is open. I enjoy the puzzles, skip almost all dialog, but now around level 220, the tasks went from 2 to 3 puzzles to complete. Some even require 2 or 3 sets. So baking a cake took 6 finished puzzles. You also get coins, around 50 per puzzle when one is completed, yet it costs hundreds to extend with 5 extra moves or purchase a toll to use in the game. It’s a great idea and the puzzles are good, but I’m giving it up now that it moves even slower than the first levels.
  • I would love to give 5 stars

However, there are a couple of things that annoy me! 1. I hate that I’m using the stars that I work so freaking hard for (hours/days) on stupid stuff and not house repairs!! That’s the whole reason it’s called HomeSCAPES! I don’t want to spend my hard earned stars to greet someone at the door or open a piece of mail? Or name a cat I don’t even want! I’m still in the freaking kitchen! I want to move on already to another room and start fixing the mansion! 2. The reason I never use my rewards like the paper planes, bombs and color balls is bc I don’t get to choose when I use them! They just appear as soon as I start the game and they are completely WASTED! What’s the point then? I want a button that I can push when I’m ready for it! Other than that I love playing the game and I love that when I’m stuck for a long time the game automatically starts giving me good things to beat the level! I like that bc that’s the whole reason I stopped playing candy crush completely! I got stuck on a level and I refused to buy stuff to move on and that’s where I was stuck...forever! So thanks for that! Now if you can just fix those two problems...I will give you 5 stars and be addicted to the game! One more thing I thought of! Please let me choose when I get my 1hr/2hr unlimited time reward! I always get it when I don’t have the time! So it gets wasted! 😣🤦🏽‍♀️
  • Best of its kind

I’ve played several games like this: Candy Crush, Star Wars, even Family Guy, and this is definitely the most solid. The puzzles seem to have the right amount of moves and there is something very satisfying in fixing up the house. The gameplay is more user friendly. I like how you can make moves as the pieces are dropping and the fact that you can use power ups by simply moving or tapping them. I’m at level 250 and still going strong!

  • Don’t waste your time

Game not worth the time. As you get higher in lvls the game gets extremely difficult. You think you beat the board but a glitch happens and you have to play the board again.
  • I love this game but hate the kites

    By Terry Christ
I enjoy this game so much; I usually hate match 3 / similar games but the storyline and decorating component r e a l l y brings this game to life for me. BUT. But. I am so angry with the stupidity and oftentimes uselessness of the kites. I’ve been stuck on a hard level and was finally about to beat it by clearing the row to get the donut and hitting a kite that IDEALLY would’ve hit the last piece blocking the donut in another row from falling but you know what happened instead? I LOST because the kite hit a piece in the row I just cleared! This is nowhere n e a r the first time the kite failed me and I think the often redundancy of its target is ridiculous. It doesn’t change course when its initial target has shifted; it doesn’t hit clear the obvious helpful rows when coupled with a rocket and instead clears an arbitrary row that will have no bearings on my winning, only my losing, when I’m down to the wire. It’s ridiculous. I would like the developers to update the game so we can select where the kite goes, what row(s) it clears, and what piece it hits. Otherwise, my favorite iPhone game shall forever only be worth 4 stars.
