  • My three year old doesn’t care for it

    By 8DollarsIs2TanksOfGasInMyCar
So I tried to cancel my subscription two days after getting it my child had absolutely no interest in any of the games or activities on this app. I thought that my subscription has been canceled (through iTunes settings) deleted the app from my phone then went to look this morning to see that I’ve been charged. Not cool. So I went through again and deleted my subscription. I don’t know why it didn’t stop when I canceled it the first time. Very frustrating as money is tight. I wouldn’t mind paying eight bucks if it was something that my kid enjoyed, but this was just a waste.
  • So far so good

So, like others, I love the app. The videos are amazing and ideal for younger learners. I have only just started trying it. I do have a more advanced learner though, and wanted to know if the games got progressively more challenging? For example, spending a lot of time on phonics and sight words for a fairly fluent reader, while isn’t bad, isn’t maybe the best use of her screen time. She still loves playing and I know there is still value there for her, but I’m just curious if the app will eventually recognize her level and adjust the activities?
  • Nice but trouble logging in

My son really likes the features on this app! Really neat way to learn new things. When I go to log in on a separate device though, it says my password is incorrect. I requested a password reset but never got an email.
  • Initial frustrations with signing up but helpful customer service

    By qwertyuiop653478
Initially had difficulty with signing up and felt like a limited customer service response, however when I requested help again swift and helpful outcome. I love the site and was disappointed that I might not be able to use it, also can sign both my kids up whereas other learning sites usually require separate subscriptions so it’s excellent value. My kids love it, this is the only app I’ll let them use as I feel it complements all of our other non screen activities extremely well
  • Sigh

Had to sign up. How do I quit free trial? App is slow and boring.
  • Good but No offline

  • Great App & Customer Service

    By Greatest mom ever!
Firstly, my kids love the app and learn a lot each time they “play” with it. Also had a case of user error (my mistake) and they helped me get the app working on my phone within 24 hours! I appreciate a company that helps their customers quickly.
  • Quite fantastic!

The app is loaded with a variety of interests and topics! My boys love the app. The new arts & crafts section is especially fun!
  • Stuck paying for it! Don’t download!!

    By Holly432678
I started the free trial but it is impossible to cancel the subscription now! I am stuck paying 5.95 a month for something I don’t use. I have tried emailing support but get no response! Don’t start the “free” trial, you’ll never get out of it!!!
  • Love MarcoPolo so much!

    By MamaSmith917
My son has been using the other three MarcoPolo apps Ocean, Arctic, and Weather, and he really enjoys them and has already learned new things. He is only 2 years old, and so I am often hesitant about letting him use our devices, but when I discovered the MarcoPolo apps I changed my mind and set him up on an iPad that we weren’t using. The content of all the apps is great and we were all floored when he started telling us the he was going to “build a submersible.” The Arctic and Ocean apps have the building activities (like a puzzle) that have tidbits of info and then a free play with the items/animals he can build and the weather is basically all free play. I was anxious to add the World School app but was unsure it was worth it since he is just now 2 years. I finally gave in yesterday and am very pleased. He is barely making it through the videos and I have to point him to the activities, but he could perfectly navigate the videos with only a few minutes of figuring it out. The videos are fantastic. They are about a minute long and conversational, which is the ideal way of learning. The narrator is very articulate and the detail of the videos is great. They have a wonderful combination of animation and real imagery. I am more than happy to pay a fee to support new and fabulous content. Thank you MarcoPolo, keep it coming!
