Description

Jo never quite fit in… Jo never quite fit into any single clique in school. She disliked going to bars, and the idea of going to a frat party and needing to make superficial conversation with random boisterous people made her stomach curdle. For some reason, over the years, the only relationships that meant anything to Jo were the ones where she could talk one-on-one about deeper stuff. Unfortunately, as she got older, it seemed like it got even harder to make those connections. She tried everything… coffee shops, chat rooms, karaoke bars, etc. And then Friended came along… Friended is a community where she got to chat with real people instantly that were just like her… it’s like she found her tribe… “finally”, she thought, “these are my people.” After she downloaded Friended the first time, all she did was post an icebreaker and then she got one-on-one messages from tons of interesting, cute, awesome, funny, sweet, deep people… just like her. Are you a little bit like Jo? If so, just fill in the blank to create an icebreaker. The conversation starter takes the pressure off that first encounter. Once you post, others will start messaging you directly, right away! It’s so easy to discover awesome people to talk to any hour of the day. You can quickly filter through the people you want to interact with and go from talking to dozens of people at once to messaging just one specific person that really gets you. Your Friended experience is what you make it… no judgement, the only thing you need to do is just be yourself. Download free. Chat any hour of the day, instantly... The app is free to download and use, but you do need Facebook (for now) to help make sure that you’re chatting with real people. You’ll probably just have a ton of fun chatting because that’s what Friended is designed for, but we’ve also heard quite a few stories of people making friends… and in some cases, the friendship growing into something more. Email us at hello@friended.com, tell us what you love about Friended or recommend how we can make the Friended community even better… we can’t wait to hear from you.

Absolutely no messages will load, & I know I have received them/what they say from notifications. Can’t open the messages or see them however to respond.

It’s a neat app I like it but I don’t understand why I can see that people are messaging me in a notification drop box but when I go to the chat it’s not there. And they have trouble getting a message sent to me. Please fix?!
  • Fairly decent, but unhappy about pricing & benefits.

The app itself is pretty nice, and has great potential. However, I do find the pricing of this to be quite unnecessary. While it is common amongst most modern dating sites to have paid benefits and offers, I feel as though this app has very little benefits and it seems to be limited. You have to pay to message someone, and I find that quite unreasonable. I hope someday this app will grant more benefits to those who perhaps can’t quite afford, or desire to subscribe to their services.

I’ve been on this app for a little while now and I had this one dude say “I need help” and “your gonna burn in hell” way to lower self esteem. If anyone is trans beware these people will be commenting at any chance they get.

I was really hoping that this app was going to be something I could use to make new girlfriends but that is not the case you’re not able to filter your location or the people that you’re looking to befriend once I added the app it gives you an option to put a funny icebreaker question on your profile which I did and I wish I never did. Nothing but creepy dudes started messaging me , and even worse your Facebook profile is linked in with the app so they start adding me on Facebook not very happy . This app is not girlfriend me it’s another tinder and bumble ladies be beware of this app
  • The reason

Why did I give this app a star? The reason is because it isn’t fair that this app is IPhone based. Not everyone like iPhones, someone are android users. They are more androids than iPhone or iOS based technology. The app should be open minded to other technology. I told my friend about the app because I always have an excellent time conversating with other individuals but she couldn’t even find it. If this app was more open and found a way for every to use. Also, I think you will have more people interested in your franchise and make even more profit. I mean isn’t this why people create things to show others what they made by using their knowledge and experience. If you want your work to excel in great lengths I think you should be open to more options and opportunities for discovery and gradually become great overall. Just my opinion be open minded towards other technology and I guarantee others will enjoy your app and you will successfully make an all round creation work mentioning and downloading.

I think it’s a decent app to meet people on. I just think the $8 a week thing just to see who’s “interested” in you is a bit on the extreme side.
