We tried a whole bunch of "parental control apps" and SaferKid is definitely the best one The text message monitoring is such a relief, and the app controls are really great. We did have an issue with our son's Samsung phone, but they got it fixed after we emailed their support. Great product and great service!!!
  • App not worth the money

This app doesn't work as promised. After backing up my daughters phone, and checking for new content through the app on my phone, no new texts appear, although she has been texting on it all day and searching the web. Not worth the $14.99 monthly subscription.

The parent account can only see what the child is doing when the device is backed up

My app is constantly messing up information is not coming through on time now my phone is giving me a message saying if you are the owner of the application check the logs for more information! How is that when the purpose of this application is to get logs. This app is 15$ I expect it to be fixed soon

****updated*** The app is now working perfectly. Customer support was very helpful troubleshooting the malfunctions and we had it working within a day for both Ios and android. I initially left a negative review for this app stating that it wasn't working and that support wasn't helpful. I was immediately contacted by customer support who apologized for my negative experience, explained that some changes were made to iCloud affecting the apps function and that support should have stated such. They offered to make it right. I am impressed. I can't give 5 stars, because the app is still not working, but when it is up and running I will update my review.

We needed a solution for our child's iPad. We tried several different apps and the iOS built in controls but Saferkid is the only solution which blocks adult content and has text monitoring. It allows us to keep tabs on what our kids are doing online and with whom they are communicating. It was invaluable in a specific situation at the end of this school year which allowed us as parents to get in front of a situation which would have had lasting implications for our child.

This app is great! Helps me keep an eye on my kid without being overbearing. I had no idea how dangerous some apps can be before signing up for Saferkid. Update: The new features are awesome. This makes monitoring my child's device really simple.

I downloaded this app and tried to create an account, but it's glitchy and won't even let me get past that screen. Even tried going to their website and create an account to no avail. Garbage.

Nowhere in this app info does it say 14.99 monthly subscription required. Such crap...
