  • Clipboard sneak

    Hey, why are you pasting from my clipboard every single time I enter the app? Great to know which apps are trying to sneakily grab my data. One star until you fix this, you have no business scraping clipboards.

    Service is great but I canceled because when you pause it after a few minutes when you play it, it goes to love tv so you miss part of your show
  • “Oops, something went wrong “

    Even though there’s been updates, I can’t log in. I know I have the right password as if I use the wrong one it tells me so. When I do everything correctly the error message “Oops something went wrong. Please try again later,” comes on. It’s been weeks. I keep trying. No dice. I shared the screenshot with ATTHelp on Twitter. Nobody got back to me. I’m using an iPhone.
  • Expensive for what you get

    No A & E, no AMC at the entry level $55 package. Very little on demand content - none for TCM, MGM movies or HD Net movies. Much of what they offer is only included in the expensive tiers. I would have kept this because I like the Roku interface and channel guide but it’s missing channels I want and not having on demand content for the movie channels is a definite deal breaker.

    Got rid of cable in the hopes of watching less commercials. Not only does AT&T Tv have a crapload of commercials they are all on repeat. Not 1 new commercial throughout a show. Would not recommend.

  • Irritating

    I just want to watch my direct tv now. I get sent to this app which says they want me back and I have to create an account. I can’t create an account because I get the spinning wheel of death. I don’t even I understand why I have to create an AT&T account just to steam my satellite. Quite irritating!

  • Accessing clipboard without permission and too glitchy and missing features

    With iOS 14, you can see when an app accesses your clipboard. AT&T TV accesses it every time the app is opened without permission and without cause. That means AT&T the last thing you copied be it a password, a picture, a url, etc. This practice needs to stop ASAP. There have been persistent glitches/bugs and miss feature for as long as I can remember. Bugs: 1) When switching to Guide from a recorded show, the guide is displayed, but nothing is selectable. You have to back out of the Guide, go back to the recording or Live, then select Guide again to select a new show. 2) There is an audio synchronization issue in recordings, when you skip ahead. You I have to exit the recording then go back into it to fix the issues. 3) The picture quality is not consistent among different channels. Having said that, it is not great on any channel. Missing features: 1) Add user profiles. 2) Increase the DVR storage to more than 20 hours. 3) Improve the picture quality. It is noticeably worse than any other stream service I use.
  • Latest iOS version never completes login.

    After updating to the most recent version (for both iOS 13 & now iOS 14) the app never logs in, even with correct credentials. Always get an error dialog that just says “Oops, something went wrong”. Not sure if it’s an app problem or related to when AT&T TV forced your user ID to become your email address vs. just a standard username.
