    Succinct titles. Easy to navigate. One problem is that old news stories sometimes never leave. When I open the "paper" each morning, I don't want to reread yesterday's news. I want only the new articles. Also while scrolling through, the ads are so sensitive that a soft finger touch opens the ad unintentionally. Then you have to get back to your article and break your chain of thought. Lastly, takes a long time to load and refresh. Needs a little work but overall good.

    Not sure if the merger of Gatehouse Media and USA Today has anything to do with the recent increase of “buggy” behavior of this app, but ever since the merger the app has Gotten worse and worse. It crashes a lot. Constantly closes for no reason. It loads content slower than it used to. I’m going to give this app another month and if the bugs aren’t fixed, I’m just going to unsubscribe and stick with the free WINK News and NBC-2 apps. Also, the 30 second ads required to watch every video on this app even though I’m a subscriber is ridiculous!

    This app used to be fine, but now it often crashes at startup. And the first page takes forever to load. Barely usable.

    I’ve been a digital subscriber for six years. I can no longer view content on my iPad or computer. The screen welcomes me back by name, however whenever I click on a link, the next screen asks me to log-in. After I do, I’m relegated to multiple loops requiring that I activate my subscription followed by the log-in screen. I’ve made three calls to customer support each of whom was no help. However, the company religiously charges my credit card each month.

    When using the app, to read an article it makes you log in multiple times during a single use
  • iPad app loads very slowly & crashes regularly??

    The App is really slow to load lately and I experience frequent crashes that requires relaunch. What is up with this? I’ve deleted and reinstalled it without any better results. My iPad is not very old so its not the machine it’s the App.
