Description

Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. The newest update to Pokémon GO, the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded 650 million times and named “Best Mobile Game” by The Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch, introduced the addition of over 80 beloved Pokémon among several other new features. Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered! Now’s your chance to discover and capture the Pokémon all around you—so get your shoes on, step outside, and explore the world. You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the prestige and ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away! Search far and wide for Pokémon and items Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops, found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments, to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items. Catching, hatching, evolving, and more As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger. Take on Gym battles and defend your Gym As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await! Note: - This app is free-to-play and offers in-game purchases. The game shop said earlier I could buy a premium raid pass that has unlimited uses for the day for 100 coins and I used it on a Magmar, which I didn't need as much. Later, I stumbled upon a Weezing, which I need, and it said my raid pass was gone! Why did you change it? By the way, can you change the level requirement for raid battles to be level 20? My younger brother would really appreciate this.
  • new coin system is a mess

In general, I’ve enjoyed the game. The low rating is in regard to this latest update and the issues with it… I was looking forward to the big gym overhaul, and have been a bit underwhelmed. My biggest frustration has been with the change to the coin system. Being in a densely populated area, it was hard enough to hold down gyms and collect coins before… But the new system just makes no sense. You have to wait for a Pokémon to return to you to collect coins, and the max for the day is 50 coins? That’s just really bad math! I had multiple Pokémon defending gyms for more than a day, and they all happened to be sent back to me within the same 24 hour period, so all I got was 50 coins… So now, we have to wait, and we may or may not get anything if we’ve already hit our daily limit? VERY FRUSTRATING. Hoping Niantic takes a good, hard look at this update and fixes it.

Ok so gave the new gyms a chance and found one with 4 on it but all low health so i put my guy on the gym and started to feed the others. 30 berries later and there not even half health. I could see 1 or 2 berries each to heal but this is ridiculous. I don't know anyone thats going to heal a gym like this and go that was fun now lets go spend a few hours to stock up on berries again. Major fail

  • Gym Update

It's amusing to see all the hate coming to the gym update. This update rebalanced the game. In my town, 90% of players are blue, and all gyms would be level 10 blue. The few of us who played other teams could never knock down a gym even with two players without spending over an hour. Thus blue players would get 70 coins per day, which they would use to level. I am the highest red/yellow at lvl 27 and I have seen blues at 37. this update balances gyms so everyone can get a crack at coins.
  • Night Raids

As an adult that works during the day (when most raids are happening) I am begging for night raids because you would have so many more players participating in raids and building more random friendships through the game we all love....just a random suggestion from a random pokélover (Kingcarcar55)

Pokémon you have done a very great Jong in making this game and some people who give a low rating to it are just mad that they have to walk the only thing I would change is make the raids about Pokémon cp not about player level

The joy of the first release is now gone and no longer an option to keep for those of us that avoid updates until the last moment. That moment has come. The new updates leave you frustrated and wanting to go back to binge watching a Netflix series. Maybe it will get better but I doubt it when each update has only made the game worse. Update: level 24 and still a lot of bugs. No more growth or things to accomplish after getting all Pokemon. The gyms are not convenient and require you to sit for long periods of time. Addicted and aggravated. Update 6/24/17: level 30 and yet another epic failure in the way of a Pokémon Go update. Thanks for making the game even less rewarding and pushing only for more purchases. I've about had it with this. The least you could you do is release the update with its onslaught of bugs, glitches and crappy new game play during a time there wasn't a massive heat wave hitting the country.

The gym is much worse than before. An extremely fun game, now it's boring and monotonous. horrible. I'm totally discouraged. Where is the star dust?

I love the app but i think there should be a everyday login where you a differing amount of pokeballs or something because sometimes you dont go buy pokestops quite often or camt get to one so there should be a system like that
