  • No landscape viewing

Landscape viewing and support for either Slide Over, Split View, or picture-in-picture on iPad would make this much more usable - i.e. I’d like to be able to watch and take notes. ** landscape viewing of video is possible after video is started and full screen enabled... but as I mentioned above, I’d prefer to be able to view the whole app in landscape and use multi-tasking to take notes.
  • Requires Microsoft verification every login-doesn’t save favorites

It is a pain that you have to get a verification text every login. Why not just use biometrics. It is a pain in the neck. Also I spent a bunch of time saving courses I want and nothing shows up on the app.
  • Poor design

They just try to pass off a phone design for the iPad. It just does not work. Looks horrible. Forces you into portrait mode. Does not use extra space well at all. I think they need to take one of their own courses on how to design for iOS. How they got such high reviews is beyond me.

How is it possible that the app doesn’t support horizontal layouts?
  • No Landscape Mode on iPad

LinkedIn Learning courses are pretty good and practical. Little disappointed that the app doesn’t have landscape mode. Makes it difficult to use on an iPad that has a keyboard. I end up going to website in Safari instead so I can have an SSH session split screen to follow along lessons.

Please allow this app (and also the LinkedIn Jobs app) to start in Landscape mode. The app doesn't rotate until you’re in a course/video.

I have grown to appreciate the ability to mitigate the mind dulling of a dreadful commute to work by using this learning opportunity I’m furthering my understanding of specific topics that I previously had no insight about during idle drive time.

Please add landscape mode and tap to pause instead of hitting the tiny play/pause button. Tap to forward/rewind should also be added. Come on.
