I have used this app on Android for years and it has been solid. I recently got an iPhone to replace my android and this was the first app I installed. I am currently on the trial period since I could not transfer my android license over. As of right now I will NOT be purchasing this app. I am constantly not getting new emails via PUSH. I have the iOS mail client co figured as well and that works without issue. I can’t use this app with fear that I will not be notified that I received an email message unless doing a manual refresh. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled with the same issue. Also I have had to re logon to my office 365 account a few times in the past few days. For some reason this app is not keeping the connection to my office 365 account. I am happy to keep the app on my phone until it is all fixed and then pay but unfortunately once the trial ends the app becomes useless to me and I will uninstall. I get error -5508 a lot

Compared to the Android version, which I love, this version basically has no features at all in comparison. Ex: you can't set it so the app will only notify you certain days of the week. Also, email push doesn’t seem work unless I go into the app and sync my emails manually, and even then it might take a few minutes for my emails to actually show up. Do yourself a favor and just download Outlook.

This is the only email I’ve seen that doesn’t support gmail. I won’t buy the app until it’s supports gmail. Looks like a great email client will pay once I can add gmail.

Noticed that there seems to be a problem with the push function when both email and calendar are set to synch. When only syncing calendar without email, the synch function works flawlessly. Would be nice if there was a way to choose the type of notifications wanted. For example, I don't see why a notification needs to tell me that calendar was updated correctly, just a general alert with no specifics. I'm excited about seeing future versions, and based on the features on the Droid version, I'm anticipating having a richer experience. BTW, this app is much more compatible with our Kerio server, where Apple's app really causes quite a bit of chaos to the calendar. Obviously, 9 Folders is adhering to the Exchange standard much better than Apple.

Constantly getting logged out of the app. Will have to re-setup my account everytime at least once or twice a week. I loved the client on Android but the iOS version can't compare. I love the all the bells and whistles this app has but it's unusable when I realize my mail hasn't been syncing for a day or two because everything has been lost.
  • Battery drain

Update after losing my profile for the 4th time I can no longer recommend this app. I have a lot of folders to sync and having to reset them one by one every time Nine decides to remove my profile has become very time consuming! Update! nine works great after iOS upgrade 11.3.1 Since update and paying the one time fee. Now my iPhone 7 battery drains down in half the time. I un install 9 iPhone battery works as expected. Re install 9 and the battery drains down very quickly. 9 worked great while I used the free version. What happened. I will give 9 5 stars when the battery drain is resolved. Other wise this app works great the only email app that has a true unread folder that shows all unread email no matter what folder it has been moved to by rules!
  • Worth the fee

As a heavy user of email this app has it all and was from me worth the purchase. You can view your email in a multiple of ways and it syncs over multiple devices. It allows those who want to test it a 14 day free trial with all the functionality of a purchase so I knew exactly what I was getting.
  • Nine loosing all data

Happened twice after last two nine updates.... All mail and configuration disappears and application returns to first time install screen. When you attempt to reconfigure mail settings, the application crashes and closes. Only way is to delete and reinstall from app store. I have lots of folders to sync and it is a pain to set up all over Everytime.
  • Delay in msgs

Looks like this app works better in an android phone. I’ve experienced delay In getting messages these days in my iPhone. I like this app because you get notifications for emails with rule settings vs the mail and outlook apps.
