    There is nothing more important to me than knowing my child is safe under my care. My child is very young, twelve years old, and has asked relentlessly for her first phone. I wouldn't say I "gave in", because I installed TeenSafe--and for the most part, I've been able to really teach my childd about internet safety.   • Still needs work

    This is a fantastic concept but the application needs work. Pause has several issues and often will not unpause unless we go through several steps of clearing it out and signing back in. (Which means we can't use the timed feature.) Each evening we put the phones on heavy mode, and then back on light mode in the mornings. However, when I pull up the app in the morning to change it to light mode, the heavy mode is no longer selected and there are no currently no restrictions on the phone at all. When I select either mode on my phone, and check their phone, the mode did not apply to their phone. In order to get it to work, I have to select a mode, then select the other mode, then again select the mode I want and sometimes this will work. This is not a connectivity issue. This is an app issue. If the developer decides to respond, please don't blame it on that as you did with other reviews. The app has bugs and needs work. (To the weird person who said this is a disgusting app - you clearly have no idea what you're talking about and don't even have the app. You absolutely cannot see the pictures your kids friends are sending. Try some research. 🙄)
  • Awful and frustrating!

    When I went to check if my scheduled time to pause my daughters apps was working, as it hasn't been pausing as scheduled these past couple of days, it took forever for the app to open and once it did, I was somehow logged out (as I'm always automatically logged in). So when I went to login, it kept telling me my password was incorrect. I had jotted down my password so I knew that it was not incorrect. However, it would not let me proceed with logging in with that supposed incorrect password. So that I could just move along, I went ahead and reset my password. The reset process involves me entering my email and then going into my email and clicking on a link to reset it. After doing that, I received an email confirmation that my password was successfully reset. However, when I tried to login with the new password, I still kept getting a message it was incorrect. I tried this process about 8 times...each time telling me it was successful and then when I try to login, it still kept telling me that password is incorrect. I then proceeded to delete the app and reinstall it thinking that would help. Still, nothing! I have currently been on hold with customer service for 52 minutes and I'm getting nowhere. My daughters device did pause as scheduled, however, if I want to make any changes there is no way of this being done as I can't log in! If I still cannot log in, I am hoping that the schedule will turn off as scheduled in the morning. If not, we have a big problem... seems there's absolutely no other way to control it if I can't logon. Tried logging into teen safe from a computer but that only leads to the desktop monitoring version, not app control version. Really frustrated!

    This App's killer feature is the Pause button, which blocks all phone functions except calls. New scheduling features make it even more convenient. I can set my kids' schedules for homework, dinner, even bedtime and make sure they are not always glued to their phone. Parent's dream come true!

    I have a great relationship with Lili. She is my only daughter and also the love of my life. We have a great relationship, but she knows I am her mom and do get concerned if I see something weird. She is aware I have a Teensafe account and knows that I can control her device.
  • Won't pause

    The timed pause doesn't work. It actually locked at the wrong time. I stopped using the timer and went back to manually pausing. More and more it won't unlock. I have to delete the app from my phone and re download it. A couple of times even that didn't work. My son has autism and this is becoming a big issue. Not worth the money. The response from TeenSafe control was that my son and I must be in the same time zone or it could be a connectivity issues because of slow or weak connections due to background services running on my child's device. He keeps his iPad in his room because he has ICD and autism and won't let it out of his room. He doesn't have background services because he has OCD and can only have one thing running at a time. App doesn't work. I'm canceling it

    I've only use this for a day and it is not working good at all. Each time I pause the phone it says error, each time I unpause it says error I want my $10 back horrible app
  • Doesn't work

    App removes "pause" or "restrictions" on your child's phone randomly, which voids its purpose. I was told by Teensafe to reinstall the updated version of the app again, but it has been stuck "loading" on my phone for 2 days now and even Apple can't figure it out besides wiping my phone clean. It'd be with the $15/month if it actually worked.
