  • Solid App - Use with dialogue to your kids.

Not only has the ap eliminated the need to constantly police my children's time on their phone, but when combined with communication regarding developing better time management skills and budgeting phone usage, this is a great ap that has made everyone in the family more aware of the amount of time they spend on the phone. The inherent limitations on the ap are iOS related, but I feel that the developers have put together work arohndsxwherecthey can. And the customer support has been top notch with a personal response everytime we have had a question or a concern. I highly recommend.

Worst thing I have done. This is a crappy yeah that seems like a good idea. After the app time runs out it blocks your child from using it but it also blocks youfrom having any access to it. It works on the VPN system that renders your iOS Wi-Fi all I know access to your apps. If you try to delete the program while it's working in a week or so it'll lock your computer out and will not allow you to gain access to the iPad again short of a full reboot to factory settings. Lost all information and pictures that were on the iPad. I read the bad reviews and decided to get it anyway so I can't blame them too much for the Worst mistake I made in downloading this.

I thought that to remove the app you had to delete it from both devices but turns out you can't delete it from the child's phone without hiding all the apps and making it impossible to get back! I tried to delete it because it's to expensive to have for more than 14 days and you can't effectively use it in only 14 days. Do not download this app unless you want it for life.

I've used this app for my three teenage boys for about six months, and I'm very happy with it. I am able to limit their screen use for games and surfing to a couple of hours a day, and not during bedtime and while at school. They are able to telephone, call, and email whenever they like so we are always able to communicate. Two of my sons are on the spectrum and used to spend every waking moment on the phone or laptop. We use Apple's parental controls on their laptops, and screen time on their phones. Now, getting them to eat, exercise, do chores, and interact with others is much easier. I use this app to reward daily exercise with additional screen time. When we travel I can also allow more screen time if I choose. This app makes parenting spectrum kids much easier!

Screentime was recommended to me by a friend and I have now recommended it to other friends. This is an excellent tool for parents. This app is definitely worth the money. I can remotely grant my kids screen time or take it away. They have learned to earn screen time and submit their chores for approval. Apple does not allow screen time to track which app is being used (just the times the screen is on) but the kindle does show which app they are on. It does lock up on my daughter's iPhone a lot. It will lock her out when she shouldn't be. Apple does not allow screen time to shut down iMessage, so when this happens she can let me know so we can troubleshoot it. Even with this minor annoyance, it is still worth every penny.
  • App requires certificate installation that totally controls your device

To use the app you have to give permission to do anything they want on the device including remote wiping. I understand this is an apple imposed limitation but it is too much to put up with. Sorry, just say it is not possible on iOS.

This app is awesome, but I wasn't aware till after I set everything up, that there's a $5 charge EVERY month! One time fee? Sure!! I'd pay that!! But monthly? I'll find a new app

I feel every person in this world who owns some sort of phone has the habit of scrolling through social media one last time before going to bed. I do this too, and find myself often going well past midnight doing pointless stuff on my phone. I've downloaded this app and tested it on myself, setting the bedtime timer for 10:00pm-7:00am. Right at 10:00pm, all my apps shut off (I have an apple iPhone), and no internet access is allowed. This in turn forced me to go to sleep either reading a book or getting a personal goal accomplished. It's been only a couple days, and already know I've woken up early with a refreshed mind, ready to start my day. I absolutely love not having access to the internet at night. I cannot wait to share this with my family to set stronger accountability. Thanks to the team who created this app. I look forward to communicating with you regarding this app, and hopefully continuing to use it. Highly recommend!
