The automatic workout generator is excellent, the interface is gorgeous, and certain key features like the easy substitution of one exercise for another and the ability to customize recovery percentages are truly brilliant." “Great for Beginners too! Love the Fitbod app, it has helped me so much in my workouts and development. Was stuck for years around 15% body fat and doing the same workout. After using the app for 2-3 months, went to 10% body fat and doing so many different things during the workout. Thank you so much for this app." Strava: Instagram: Twitter: Facebook: Privacy Policy: Terms of Use:

  • It’s awesome with minor issues

    By Gacha88
I’ve been using this app since July 2017 and so far I’ve been seeing progress on February 2018 even if it’s slow which is good because I warm up by using the treadmill and elliptical. I like that they added the running and elliptical in the program. I am seeing my arms are getting tone and I’m loving it. However, I hope that warm up exercises are included before a workout because it’s hard for me to know what warmup are good for the exercises I’m about to do for the day. Also, I’ve notice that this app does not heavily focus on the core exercises and yes I can input or add it in which I do but hopefully there’s a section for the core section because core is fundamental for bodybuilding too. So far, I love this app which is why I paid the annual fee because this is the only app that easy, intuitive and not boring for me. I think this app will get better over time.
  • Best Lifting App In The Making

    By LiquidMantra
Love it!!!! FitBod is the most comprehensive and scientifically driven app you're gonna need. Workouts for Power lifting, Olympic Lifting, Strength trading, Tone (Hypertrophy)'s about as intelligent programming you're gonna get without a highly trained professional coach. As with everything in life, it's not perfect - doesn't cover cardio and most Metcon regimes like Rowing, Running etc...a HR monitor integration could cover those though. All said, after using fitness apps for year, paid and unpaid, this is the one I've settled on.
  • Fantastic, but tweaks are welcome

    By Josh.Nolan
Overall absolutely fantastic app, and helps me stay consistent and on top of each muscle group in a way that wasn’t as easy to do beforehand. This way it also helps keep variation in each workout. Pretty much no two workouts are the same. Best part: I get to ensure that each muscle group is getting the intensity it needs, when it needs it, as well as the rest that it needs, when it needs it. Biggest complaint: Deadlift does not accurately represent the right muscle groups. It currently considers hamstrings to be the primary muscle group, so it has the most affect on that muscle group. However, while hamstrings are *a* primary muscle group, deadlift also incorporates the glutes and lower back *a lot.* plus, theres all the secondary muscle groups incorporates. Likewise for squats, cleans, and snatches... the muscle groups could be tweaked and a bit more accurate. Room for improvement: I would love to see this app at its full potential – keeping track and making graphs of my progress over time! I currently use a different app for this and would love to just have it all in one app.
  • Omg! This rocks! 💪🏽

I love the app and the work outs! I've used it for a week now and it's the best work out I've had since high school! I usually work out for 2 hours a day before the app and I would be a little sore. But with this app and it's work outs, I work out for just an hour or even 30 minutes and I'm sore the next day! No pain no gain right! Love it!
  • Loving this app!

I have been lifting for the last few years and I have to say I really have been enjoying this app. I am a big fan of the tutorials, so I can always check my form or if one of my friends has a question about an exercise I can just show them the explanation. The over all design is well done. The muted color palette along with the flat UI design gives the app a nice crisp modern feel.(Flat UI is always a way to my nerdy heart 😘) I love the muscle map with the fatigue heat percentages, reminds me of looking at a video game character’s armor status. I can tell a lot of time and development went into this project! The only thing I really wish it had was a place to track super sets. Also, it would be pretty cool to have a way to log how reps are done...for example if the lifter did negatives or pause reps. Other than that keep of the good work! Looking forward to future updates.

I’ll check in again in 3 months and let you know if my definition has increased and my strength. This assuming I eat properly!

  • Good app and can’t wait till future irritations

After searching for days I am glad I decided to settle for this app. I like the simplicity and user friendliness of this app. My favorite features are the ability to remove exercises so they will never show up on a new workout build, easy interface to find replacements of a movements, and the ability to customize your workout to your needs weather it be push and pull days or focused on muscle groups. What I would like to for an update is the ability to pause your music and send a small noise to let you know that your rest is up or send a vibration to your smart watch. This only works when you have your phone unlocked. Any way I can help you all in building or improving the app please let me know test or development. It would be a fun side project.
  • Short Trial

    By Dr. Tyman
The app seems to have some interesting features. I like that the app keeps track of muscle group recovery and that each suggested exercise has an instructional video and a description associated with it. Unfortunately, the trial period only last for three workouts. That was not enough time for me to know if I would actually use this app on a daily basis. There are no meaningful features available for free after three days. I’m not ready to commit the money to upgrade to the full version.
