Just charge in the App Store. Why trick people and waste their time? That is just annoying and leads to bad reviews like this!

RoboKiller is one of the best apps for scam callers...and yes it actually works and it works extremely well. If someone calls you from a number similar to yours it automatically detects it and blocks the call, same thing for robocalls and scammers. Their registry of known scammers updates frequently!! Love this app so much.

RoboKiller worked great at first, but now I get 2-3 spam calls a day again. I’m about to cancel the subscription to RK.

YOU CAN GET! Yes this means it's not perfect and I didn't expect perfect, but thanks to a huge AND GROWING database and continued reports/contributions from users it just keeps getting better. I'VE ONLY HAD THIS TWO DAYS! In that time it's blocked one spam, two neighbor spoofs and one of those two the answer bot handled it (Thank you Mr Trump). Outside of three calls nothing. Mondays are always the worst for this garbage and I usually get about 8 calls, the majority of which are neighbor spoofs (the most annoying and aggravating of all). Today I've only received two calls. I'm looking forward to seeing things after a week let alone the next 30 days. Update: it's been 8 days since installation and the calls have been reduced drastically! Since Monday is always the worst well that's the real test isn't it? No calls today. But the sms texts have picked up just a hint where I used to get none. But robo killer is on the job. I'm certain we'll get a grip on that soon enough too.

Great until I realized some of the calls being blocked were ones I really needed. Had to remove the app.

The background was funny, but he was singing to a recorded message.
  • I’m not sure where the good reviews are coming from!

This is the second time that I tried Robo killer because, honestly, I’ve had it with the spam calls. However, not a single car was blocked. I went through the entire activation process including customization of my voicemail messages, which were quite funny. However, this app simply doesn’t work for my phone.

Really liked the app during the free trial week - was clear that spam calls were being blocked by the app. During the first paid week, I noticed a few calls made it past the app, and then I also had text messages come through that weren’t filtered into the “spam and unknown” folder that the app set up in my messages inbox. Now, I’m a bit disappointed because I’ve realized that voicemails from both unknown numbers AND some contacts are only accessible through the app voicemail tab. Apparently that’s a thing with the Sprint carrier, but it’s frustrating because the calls & voicemails are only shown/available after they’ve gone though the app. I do have the option to access my contacts so that known numbers aren’t filtered, but that apparently isn’t working 100%. Overall, the app is easy to use and does a good job, and the answering bots are cool, but the voicemail situation can be frustrating, and it doesn’t block all spam calls or texts.
  • I think this app releases your phone number

I thought this was awesome when I first downloaded it a few months ago. However, I keep getting more and more calls from u known numbers which do get blocked by the app. However, as soon as I deleted the app I stopped getting any of these calls at all. Makes me wonder.

I was getting lots of spam calls so I downloaded this app. All I can say is within minutes of doing that I started getting FaceTime video calls and text messages from strangers that I’ve never gotten before. It is still happening to this day. I don’t know what’s going on with this service, but I can tell you this isn’t a coincidence. I may have to change my number or my appleid. I don’t know. But I am worse off than I was.
