  • Was thrilled at first....

My review echoes the extremely consistent frustrations others are reporting. Mainly: 1) Requires excessive spending to enjoy the game. Unlike most games, that reward skill, advancing here is closely aligned with how much money you spend. For one thing, purchased furniture should be OWNED and remain in inventory. 2) Competing in challenges is pointless when the winning rooms bear no relation to the challenge profile, and tend look like monochromatic showrooms that no sane person would want to live in. I was really thrilled by this game at first, so it’s a drag to have to stop. I’m giving it 1 star so I can get that nifty auto-reply from the “developer” saying how much they care about user experience. vvvvvvv
  • Restart issue

I love the game but it’s so annoying as it keeps crashing and restarting all the time! I’ve sent crash reports but nothing seems to be fixed.
  • Pretty but clearly not worth it

Downloaded and tried this game. It’s very pretty and designing rooms is fun. BUT- I managed to do six rooms before the starting money ran out. Usually games are generous at the start to get you hooked and it’s clear the amount you can get in this game afterwards is even more restrictive. You don’t “buy” the virtual furniture- you buy 5 uses of it. The amount of money you get daily can easily be spent on a single, relatively lower end piece of furniture. And basically every single room requires multiple specific pieces of furniture- furniture from a specific brand, specific color, whatever. So it looks like you can maybe design one room a day if you’re very careful and strategic with your spending. You can of course spend real money - so you can get “uses” of virtual furniture. I expected it to be like the games where you build up a stock of things over time and could spend real money to get a variety faster or to buy some specific special items. But nope, this one you’ll always be extremely limited and have to scrape for everything. It took me less than 20 minutes to design 6 rooms. If you want to play for 5 minutes per day or less or spend a bunch of money for things that you don’t even get permanently in game, thus is the game for you.
  • Where is my inventory?

I was enjoying it until I noticed furniture inventory that I’d paid for was slowly disappearing. 👎

Play, only to spend time being creative. I haven't seen a 5 in a very long time. The voting is a joke. Want 5's put in all white furniture, or duplicate the wall art, every time! Design THE most boring room to be successful! I'm not being bitter. This is the truth. Play for design, only. Very few get 5's, and that's because they never work the color wheel. ----------- I have played for over a year now. I love the new artwork that everyone can get. But some items...I wish we could have access all the time. I'm hoping that being able to level up easier will help with the feeling of being stuck. These new items help to keep newbies competitive.
  • Okay but expensive

I’ve been using this app for quite a long time. To compete for 5 star designs, you need to be ready to invest money. I did that for awhile but decided it was too pricey and now I just do it for fun. I stopped purchasing diamonds. I noticed that the furniture pieces get more and more expensive. This drags you into needing to invest more cash. I wrk around it but it’s disappointing that a popular game gets greedy. I have no doubt the inventor of this has gotten rich, but it’s at the expense of the players. Sad, but that’s how it goes. I’m hoping a new option comes out that leans to the clients in a reasonable manner.
  • No way to restart

The tutorial shows how to place items, but there is no explanation as to how the money and diamonds work OR how the challenges actually work (with required items you must buy etc.). So by the time I figured it out, I wasted all my money. Wanting to restart, I deleted and downloaded the app again... but the game refuses to let me restart AND keeps prompting to connect to social media to borrow items from friends also playing the game. Hard Pass.

I am so disgusted & disappointed I this game. I have actually spent approx. $1,000.00 ( one thousand dollars) since 9-17-2017. Very ashamed to say I thought it was a legitimate game. Only to finally prove that voting does not work at all like it should ! Don’t play unless you have lots of money to throw away, or don’t care about your score.
